Extreme ultra trail and long-distance march held in the picturesque but physically demanding environment of the Small Carpathians. It is historically the first Slovak event of this type with a main route length exceeding 200 km (more than 100 miles), making it one of the longest mountain ultra races in Central Europe. The event traditionally offers three challenging route variants for experienced ultrarunners and long-distance walkers.
RUSÍNSKY ULTRA BEH is an ultramarathon and long-distance walk that takes place in the region of northeastern Slovakia, with the start and finish in the town of Stropkov. The event, organized by the Stropkov Runners' Club, offers two ultra routes: the longer Rusínska 100 and the shorter Rusínska 66. The routes lead through the beautiful landscape of the Ondavská vrchovina in the Zemplín region and continue into the Šariš region via Svidník, located in the northern part of the Low Beskids.
A race held in the mountainous and hilly areas around the city of Žilina in Slovakia, taking competitors through three different mountain ranges: Kysucká vrchovina, Malá Fatra, and Strážovské vrchy. The event offers several challenging individual routes and a relay option, making it attractive to a wide range of runners.
SLOVAK ULTRA EXTREME is a unique extreme orienteering run/march for individuals over a distance of approximately 100 km, requiring both physical fitness and top-notch navigation skills. This is the 2nd year of the event, with "SUX - Hon(t) na obrov" being its second round in 2026.
JAVORNÍCKA STOVKA is a traditional ultra-trail race that takes place in the picturesque Javorníky mountains on the border of Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It is a challenging but beautiful test for lovers of long-distance routes and mountain nature. Runners can enjoy magnificent views, quiet forests, and typical Beskydy architecture. It usually takes place in autumn, which can bring variable weather and increase the difficulty.
The Považie 100 is a long-distance march and ultra trail in the beautiful environment of the Upper and Middle Váh River region.
The route is extremely demanding with a mountain character and is intended for experienced ultrarunners/walkers!!!
Meeting of ultra-enthusiasts who want to push their limits after Christmas. This is punk race. The event does not have a firmly set route, only control points. You proceed point by point. No refreshment stations!
